RENEW CEO RETREAT

creating space and structure for recharging

What to expect

During your CEO retreat, you’ll take a bird’s eye view of your business to create the space you’ve been craving for creativity and rest. This retreat can be done with just you as CEO or with your top decision-makers. Because so often, we get swept away by the busyness of life and all of the little details...

Spinning all the plates, moving too quickly, trying to do all the things, doing things out of habit instead of with intention, and staring at a computer screen until our eyes glaze over.

But when we slow down and step back to look at the big picture of our business and life, when we get real about what’s working and what’s not, when we allow ourselves to feel into what we truly want… we find ALIGNMENT and ORDER.

BRINGING ORDER TO OUR LIVES IS AN energy source–and the secret weapon when it comes to productivity.

When you’re aligned in your work, doing what you’re meant to do each day, you feel inspired, motivated, and you get more done.

When things are up in the air or you have loose boundaries, your energy is drained by your work, things feel uncomfortable and they go slow.

So we need to step back on a regular basis to recalibrate, set goals, and make plans that grow. I recommend doing this each quarter and spending longer on it around the turn of your fiscal year.

In-depth questionnaire to gather information

This is an online form you fill out before the retreat. It helps us be more efficient during the retreat and covers the common questions we'd ask to start the research on your business.

intensive meeting or call

Audit and Let Go:

  • accomplishments and lessons learned

  • gather known as well as indirect information (you know, the way things YOU do them)

  • prioritize all projects that are overdue or floating in your brain

  • align goals with specific updates and resources to be implemented

  • letting go of things that are blocking your goals

grounding

This section of the retreat is when you get outside to reconnect with your breath, clear your mind, and reset. We will then go through a series of questions to help you:

  • Calibrate

  • Order your priorities

  • View potential changes

Outlooks and outcomes

This is your time to journal, daydream, or create your vision for this coming year or quarter. I provide prompts as a guide, combining what you’ve extracted already and defining your goals.

Some of my clients use this retreat to create:

  1. A clearly defined offer sheet or menu that goes from free products and services to VIP client services.

  2. A well-planned client journey map with workflows and resources so you can delegate responsibilities, creating more breathing room and frees up your time.

  3. An action plan for the next big launch that can be replicated over and over.

You will receive resources and suggestions to increase the scalability of your business. Our plan will explore any gaps we found in the audit, solutions for your most pressing issues, and highlight the opportunities in your path for organizing, growing, and calibrating your business. You’ll receive an outsider’s perspective on your business systems with a clear road map and checklist to achieve your goals.

action plan

This is where you (and possibly your team) focus on the specifics including:

  • Income and revenue goals

  • Marketing and sales

  • Program/Services design and delivery

  • Admin/operations/team

  • Justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion

  • Professional development

*In person the retreat is 4-6 hours depending on the size of the team. Virtual retreats are 1.5-2.5 hours in meeting with Bright Moments (Melanie Albright) and 2.5-4.5 hours of self led prompts depending on the size of the team. We recommend blocking two full days for a full experience.

INVEST IN YOUR renewal

1 WEEK OF PREP + PLAN, 1 DAY for the RETREAT

Your time is valuable. To avoid rushing (and missing important stuff), your completed pre-work assignments are due one (1) week before your chosen start date, no exceptions. Because we have several options for this retreat to be in person or virtual, the pricing is reflected below. I recommend also adding other team-building activities and time for connection to create a long weekend or multi-day event.
